Forces video embeds contained in dropdowns to have a size --><style>.dropdownizer__dropdown iframe { width: 100% !important; height: 100% !important; }<\/style>\n<p>While Arab American heritage month is celebrated nationally during the month of April and Asian American &amp; Pacific Islander heritage month is celebrated nationally during the month of May, due to the way the academic calendar falls, we celebrate AAPI in the month of April. This year, students have led the efforts to highlight both AA + AAPI by combining both celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Arab American and Asian American &amp; Pacific Islander Heritage Month Kickoff <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All are welcomed to join the Jeh Vincent Johnson ALANA Cultural Center in collaboration with ALANA student leaders and campus partners for a special evening celebration to kickoff Arab American x Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month on<strong> <\/strong>Thursday, April 18th, from 5\u20137 p.m. in the Villard. The special evening celebration will include lively dance\/spoken word performances, students\u2019 remarks, faculty keynotes, an engaging student-led activity, and community organization tabling. A variety of delicious food and beverages will be available.
