We work with students at every stage, from exploring majors and careers to actively seeking post-graduate opportunities.<\/li><li>Discuss and support the importance of multiple, meaningful summer experiences, beginning in the first year. These experiences allow students to explore interests, ask questions, create contacts, and make new discoveries about themselves and their career options. Students can browse opportunities on our curated job\/internship database,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/vassar.joinhandshake.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Handshake<\/a>.<\/li><li>Observe and listen to your student\u2019s passions and strengths. Encourage them to explore!<\/li><li>Encourage networking through the Vassar network and, if possible, your own. Studies find that&nbsp;<strong>nearly 75% of jobs are secured through networking<\/strong>.
