Each year, the OCEL and our partner organizations select 10 Vassar students to participate in a unique, year-long leadership program. The Community-Service Work Study Program allows students an opportunity to support community identified projects of the OCEL\u2019s partner organizations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students are expected to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apply to and be selected by one of the OCEL\u2019s partner organizations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commit to the work-study position and CSWS Program for the full academic year (September\u2013May)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend bi-weekly cohort meetings other CSWS Fellows <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work 6\u20138 hours per week for your assigned community organization&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule an individual meeting to check-in with OCEL staff mid-semester&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit a final reflection at the end of the semester to the OCEL<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete a Weekly CSWS Check-In form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/student-employment\/students\/csws\/\">Learn more about Community Service Work Study at Vassar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Partner Organizations and Position Descriptions:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vassar.studentemployment.ngwebsolutions.com\/\"><strong>Positions are posted on JobX<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1d5YXQCieE4Ql02YKtD7Lj798pRR4jpwX_VTXwrO79Lg\/edit?usp=sharing\">View the open positions for Academic Year 2025\u20132026<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The OCEL Community-Service Work-Study Program supports students who have a passion for community engagement and social justice and qualify for federal work-study.
