Forces video embeds contained in dropdowns to have a size --><style>.dropdownizer__dropdown iframe { width: 100% !important; height: 100% !important; }<\/style>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Counseling Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Semester Breaks Mental Health Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although VCCS does not provide regularly scheduled appointments during the semester breaks, students wanting mental health support are encouraged to call the <strong>Counselor on Call any time 24\/7 by calling <a href=\"tel:+18454377333\">(845) 437-7333<\/a> <\/strong>and the Vassar counselors will follow up with those students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summer Mental Health Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/counseling-service\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/counseling-service\/\">Vassar College Counseling Service<\/a>&nbsp;is on a 10-month contract and will be closed between June 15th and August 15th.&nbsp;<strong>This encompasses all services, including psychiatry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While our mental health services will be unavailable during this period, there are local services available for students in need of mental health support.
