The maximum award for the June Ross Marks \u201849 Travel Fund and the Academic Enrichment Fund is $500; the maximum award for the Geraldine Gewirtz Friedman \u201941 Career Development Fund is $800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/vassar.jotform.com\/260786094130053\">Fill Out the Common Application<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> To maximize availability, students are limited to <strong>one award<\/strong> from one of these funds per academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please review the descriptions below to determine which fund best fits your project.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The June Ross Marks \u201949 Travel Fund<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best for:<\/strong> Students needing travel assistance connected to academic work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong>: Established in 2008 in honor of June Ross Marks' 60th Reunion, this fund reflects her love of travel. It supports student travel with a preference for travel in conjunction with academic work. $500 cap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Restrictions<\/strong>: Does not support expenses associated with tuition- or fee-based programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Academic Enrichment Fund<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best for<\/strong>: For-credit projects (eg, Thesis, Senior Projects, Research).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong>: Provides financial support for individual academic work. Priority is given to projects taking place during the academic year. $500 cap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Eligible Expenses:<\/strong> Travel, conference fees, entrance fees, production costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Requirements<\/strong>: If human participants are involved, you must provide evidence of [Institutional Review Board (IRB)] exemption or approval.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Restrictions<\/strong>: Does not support expenses associated with tuition- or fee-based programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Geraldine Gewirtz Friedman \u201941 Career Development Fund<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best for<\/strong>: Juniors\/Seniors in Drama, Film, Literature, or Visual Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong>: Established in 2001, this fund supports students pursuing special professional opportunities (internships, unpaid professional experiences, summer employment) that enhance skills in the arts. $800 cap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> Limited to <strong>Juniors and Seniors<\/strong>.
