These resources are your allies in harmonizing academic life with career dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Campus Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/residential-life\/procedures\/expectations\/\">Community Expectations<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn tips for resolving conflicts and share concerns or situations to bring them to the attention of the College so they may be addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/dean-of-studies\">Dean of Studies Office<\/a> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"\/dean-of-first-year-students\/\">Dean of First-Year Students<\/a> and other advisors work with students one-on-one to address any issues that concern them and refer students to available resources when students experience academic and personal difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"\/fli\/\">First-generation, Low Income (FLI) Program (<em>formerly the Transitions Program<\/em>)<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The FLI Program is a comprehensive, four-year program for first-generation, low-income, and\/or undocumented students. Anyone is welcome to join once they are on campus. We focus on building community and creating a sense of belonging amongst these populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/student-engagement\/resources\/first-year\/\">First-Year Experience (FYE)<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>FYE provides programs throughout a student\u2019s first year that are integrative across student life and academic affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/health-promotion-and-education\/\">Health Promotion and Education<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The office provides programs, outreach, and consultation for students around all areas of health and wellness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/international-services\/\">International Services (OIS)<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>OIS supports international students in transitioning to a new country and culture. One of our primary roles is to cultivate among each new international student a sense of belonging, which we define as creating emotional and physical spaces of a home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/alana\/\">The Jeh Vincent Johnson ALANA Cultural Center<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jeh Vincent Johnson ALANA Cultural Center provides a myriad of resources and programs to support students of color and fosters cultural, social, academic, and creative expressions. The center offers opportunities for leadership development, intra-cultural and cross-cultural dialogues, lectures, big sister\/big brother, and alum mentoring programs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/lgbtq\/\">LGBTQ+ Center<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vassar College LGBTQ+ Center provides social, cultural, and academic programming; fostering strong leaders; highlighting Vassar\u2019s unique history; and engaging the entire campus in discussions of social justice and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/residential-life\">Residential Life<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Residential Life staff advocates for and advises students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/restorative-practices\/\">Restorative Practices<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Office of Restorative Practices advances Vassar College\u2019s commitment to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/engaged-pluralism\/\">Engaged Pluralism<\/a>&nbsp;by supporting the community in constructively addressing and navigating conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offices.vassar.edu\/womens-center\/\"><strong>Women\u2019s Center<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Women\u2019s Center strives to support, celebrate and empower all women and non-binary femmes through programming, workshops, and resources to address gender inequity on campus and to help students find community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Off-Campus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lgbtqcenter.org\">Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Center supports the LGBTQ+ community by promoting well-being, advocating for equity and opportunity, and celebrating our diverse experiences. They provide resources, programming, and counseling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/familyservicesny.org\/program-areas\/victim-services\/center-for-victim-safety-and-support-cvss\/\">Family Services Center for Victim and Safety Support (CVSS)<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>CVSS provides 24-hour non-residential, comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes. Services include a 24-hour hotline\/chat line, advocacy\/accompaniment, counseling, rape crisis services, and outreach efforts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gracesmithhouse.org\">Grace Smith House<\/a>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Private not-for-profit domestic violence agency provides both residential and non-residential services to victims of domestic violence and their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dutchessaa.org\/find-meetings\">Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A) Meetings Information<\/a><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Balancing work, study, and growth?
