Part of the process is certifying the Federal Form I-9, which requires that you show certain forms of original ID in person. Please make an appointment with a representative in the Dean of the Faculty office to complete this requirement. The I-9 form must be completed prior to commencing employment, and before the College will be able to issue a paycheck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"email-id\">Email and ID Card<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You will receive access to your Vassar email address and ID Card 7 days before your start date. Please coordinate with the Dean of Faculty's office on this process. If, after receiving&nbsp;your email address, you experience technical issues, please reach out to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/servicedesk.vassar.edu\/\">Help Desk<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"mail\">Mailbox<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you retain access to a mailbox, it will be found in the College Center. The Post Office will also have your key when you arrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"faculty-profile\">Faculty Profile<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-note-1x5XxK wp-block-lazyblock-note\"><div class=\"module module--box module--note note--info\">\n        <h2 class=\"module__title\">Faculty Profile Updates<\/h2>\n        <div class=\"module__content\">\n    \n        <div class=\"module__text deadlines__date\"><strong>Faculty members can now update key sections of their profiles directly.<\/strong><br><br>Hands-on training and support sessions are available in person or via Zoom. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScSacb5P_3HEL_bVYxHBZGSl9nE_EWKYDnsCPxy0StI8ioNeQ\/viewform\">Register now<\/a>, or explore our <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/15sj9CUeozTzFN9uglh4cfczoOhYg5M4A\">self-service guides<\/a> for additional support.
