Forces video embeds contained in dropdowns to have a size --><style>.dropdownizer__dropdown iframe { width: 100% !important; height: 100% !important; }<\/style>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are several groups that participate in long-term planning for the college, representatives from the Dean of Strategic Planning and Academic Resources either is the chair or regularly contributes to the following committees: the\u00a0Priorities and Planning Committee Accessibility Committee, Committee on Campus Master Planning, Campus Investor Responsibility Committee, Classroom Committee, College Committee on Climate Action and Sustainability, Vassar Together. New groups are formed as needed to do planning that requires coordination among various areas of the college. A complete listing of the college's committees and their membership can be found at the\u00a0<a href=\"\/dean-of-the-faculty\/committees\/\">Committees website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"papc\">Accessibility Committee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Accessibility Committee is charged with developing and supporting the College\u2019s accessibility goals and formulating plans that allow the College to achieve those goals. &nbsp; &nbsp;It presents changes related to education policy to the faculty for approval and is advisory to the president on administrative policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Committee on Campus Master Planning\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The committee formulates and revises the master plan for the development of the campus; provides a forum for the review and discussion of current issues and longer-range plans related to the maintenance and improvement of buildings and grounds; and advises the president, and through the president, the executive committee and the committee on buildings and grounds of the board of trustees, on matters of policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Classroom Committee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Classroom Committee plans for renovations and improvement of teaching spaces and offices on campus. It is a working group chaired by the associate dean of strategic planning and academic resources with representatives from Buildings and Grounds Services, the Registrar\u2019s Office, Computing and Information Services, the Dean of the Faculty office, and Purchasing.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">College Committee on Climate Action and Sustainability\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Climate Action and Sustainability Committee (CASC) includes representatives from the faculty, the administration, and students. It exists to facilitate discussion and decision making in relation to College sustainability aspirations and goals. It presents changes related to education policy to the faculty for approval and is advisory to the President on administrative policies.
