We will provide another update with additional details by early next week.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Demolition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Demolition will continue daily until the end of this week and then continue on and off until about September 9th. The contractor will begin removing debris next week and that will take 4\u20135 weeks for all of the debris to be removed and hauled away. Debris materials such as concrete, bricks, and steel will be recycled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Site Layout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Next week the team will begin expanding the site fence around the project. For safety, the lawn will be enclosed, particularly while geothermal is being installed. We will pull back the fence as soon as possible next year and re-open the lawn to public use, including the farmers market. Once the project is complete, a majority of the lawn will be restored as open space and Vassar has committed to retain it as open space for public use in perpetuity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, a small storage trailer will be brought on to the site by the end of this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Phone Line<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have established a phone line for the project.
