Gabriel Dunsmith ’15 has received  Honorable Mention from the Morris K. Udall and Stewart J. Udall Foundation 2012-2013

Morris K. Udall and Stuart L. Udall Foundation 

This competition was created to encourage outstanding students to pursue careers related to the environment and to encourage outstanding Native American and Alaska Native students to pursue careers related to healthcare and tribal public policy and to foster excellence in those fields.  The Udall Foundation has awards 50 Udall Scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each and 50 Honorable Mentions to sophomore and junior level college students committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care.

This scholarship is open to students who are US citizens or permanent resident aliens who are full-time sophomores or juniors in the 2012-2013 academic year.  They must also have a grade point average of at least a “B” and be in the upper quarter of the class. We may nominate up to six students intending to pursue careers related to the environment or to healthcare and tribal public policy.
