Performance Reviews in Workday- Staff, Security Officers, & Auxiliary Employees
Dear Staff, Security Officers, Auxiliary Employees, and their Managers,
We are excited to announce that beginning today, the annual Performance Review process has transitioned from paper to a digital process within the Workday system.
The change is intended to make the Performance Review process more straightforward for employees, including managers. The new process streamlines digital signatures, and it provides employees, managers, and Human Resources with improved record-keeping by storing Reviews within Workday. Managers will also be able to follow the submission status of their team’s Reviews.
This change is not intended to replace or take away from the Manager and Employee conversations during the Performance Review process. A real-time, face-to-face discussion regarding performance remains essential to the process and is required.
We’ve developed several resources to assist you in learning how to navigate this step including:

- One-on-One Appointments with Human Resources: Appointments will be available on April 6, April 12, April 20, April 27, May 2, and May 10. Click here to schedule an appointment.
The 2022-23 Performance Reviews are due by May 12, 2023 and Managers must use the Workday system for the Review process. Human Resources will no longer record Reviews sent via paper or via email.
Please note: Administrators, Sergeants, Supervisors, and their Managers will follow the Year-End Goals and Performance Review process outlined here.
