HR Website, Workplace Notices, and Upcoming Holidays

This email is to make you aware of resources and information that are available on the Human Resources (HR) website:

  • In accordance with Section 201 of the New York Labor Law, workplace notices that are mandated by federal and state law are now electronically posted on the HR website under Policies and Regulations (see Know Your Rights in the Workplace_New York & Federal Labor Laws). The physical postings are also available in the HR Office at Baldwin Hall. 
  • The Employee Holiday Schedule is posted on the HR website. Please take note of the dates that Vassar observes holidays including the 3 upcoming holidays:
    • June 19, 2023: Juneteenth
    • July 3, 2023: Day Before Independence Day
    • July 4, 2023: Independence Day
  • The HR website offers Guides for Changing Your Retirement Benefits, including how to change your retirement election amount and/or your retirement provider.
  • For additional employee and benefit resources, visit the HR website. If you’re unable to find the information that you need, contact humanresources@vassar.edu.
