This leadership overview breaks down the basics of how to think, act and behave in a professional environment. The workshop focuses on teaching professional the steps to take to ensure they feel confident in their roles. This workshop consists of introducing you to the basic tenets of leadership such as:
- Creating and implementing the "Service First' mindset.
- Knowing how to present oneself in a professional manner.
- Understanding what is "Executive" Presence and why it matters.
- The 3 main Reputation Goals needed for success.
- The benefits of self development and enjoying your personal life.
- Relationship building with others.

About the Presenter:
Angel Mary is a motivational leadership speaker and the CEO of Star Trak Investments LLC. Angel Mary has spanned her career through various sectors such as government, finance, food service, real estate, and finally healthcare, where she fast-tracked climbing the corporate ladder from entry-level to C-Suite in under 5 years. As a senior leader implementing strategic change initiatives enterprise-wide, Angel seeks to bridge the gap between the people and the processes needed to succeed. Motivated to share her success and challenges through her career, Angel also started the Career Path Angel Show, an inspiring podcast dedicated to sharing diverse experiences, tips, and lessons for the next generation of young professionals as they decide on their own future career moves.

Coming up October 17th: Become A More Effective Colleague with DiSC and Agile IQ
This interactive, personalized half day learning experience teaches participants to read the emotional and interpersonal needs of a situation and respond accordingly. By combining the personalized insights of the DISC assessment tool with active emotional intelligence development, participants discover their EQ strenghts, recognize their EQ potential, and commit to customized strategies for building agility often outside of their comfort zone.
This workshop is in person and will be held at the Library Reading Room.
Please pre-register by September 25th in order to have time to complete your DiSC assessment prior to the workshop.
