What makes a campus global? How can we create a meaningful and innovative, global curriculum that spans all disciplines? Can “global” and “international” frameworks co-exist? How can an appreciation of globality foster a stronger sense of belonging for all? These questions and more will be addressed by guest speaker Stephen Angle, PhD, with community questions and discussion time to follow. Dr. Angle is the Director of the Fries Center for Global Studies, Professor of Philosophy, Professor of East Asian Studies at Wesleyan University.
All are welcome to attend this event, which is part one of a speaker series, organized by the Global Campus and Studies Working Group, and sponsored by the Engaged Pluralism Initiative
