Tuesday, January 26, 2021 – 12:00-1:30pm EST
Join the OIP as we partner with IES Abroad and the Smith, Amherst, Wesleyan, Wellesley, and Mount Holyoke study abroad offices and students to talk about diversity and identity while studying abroad. This Zoom workshop is aimed at engaging first and second-year students considering study abroad as juniors, but all are welcome:
- will begin the conversation on the dynamics of social identity in a different cultural context;
- covers the spectrum of identities and acknowledges intersectionality;
- empowers students with funding options in the future; and
- encourages an open dialogue about any questions or concerns that exist as one prepares to travel abroad.
The Zoom link will be made available at the end of the RSVP form, and emailed as a reminder hours prior to the event.
