Forces video embeds contained in dropdowns to have a size --><style>.dropdownizer__dropdown iframe { width: 100% !important; height: 100% !important; }<\/style>\n<p>When studying abroad, all students are billed for Vassar tuition.&nbsp;Vassar considers charges for expenses that are required as part of the academic program (i.e. field work that the program considers necessary to the academic program) as part of tuition.&nbsp;Program tuition is billed to Vassar, not to the student.&nbsp;You are responsible for paying room and board fees and any other unique program charges directly to your program.&nbsp;This includes program application fees and non-refundable advance deposits.&nbsp;All fees must be paid in full in order for your study abroad transfer credit to be applied to your Vassar transcript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Non-tuition Charges<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For questions&nbsp;about&nbsp;Vassar sponsored programs, please contact the Office of International Programs. For all other programs, you should contact the study abroad program provider directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Optional Tuition Insurance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vassar College is a participating institution of the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP), which is administered by A.W.G. Dewar, Inc.&nbsp;This plan is an optional insurance program that would enhance Vassar's refund policy, as published in our College catalogue, in the event of an unexpected leave from Vassar or a study abroad program due to a medical illness or mental health reasons. The tuition refund plan offers an 80% benefit for withdrawal.&nbsp;This money can, in turn, be used to repay any education loan or grant which must be returned in the event that a student withdraws from the college.
