Forces video embeds contained in dropdowns to have a size --><style>.dropdownizer__dropdown iframe { width: 100% !important; height: 100% !important; }<\/style>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Faculty Learning Community (FLC)\u00a0Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Faculty Learning Community (FLC) program&nbsp;<\/strong>is intended to bring together a small group of faculty to read a book about a topic related to evidence-based inclusive pedagogy and try out related practices in their respective teaching environments. FLC participants deepen their knowledge and expertise in the chosen topic through collective reflection and mutual support throughout the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FLC group is expected to meet about 4-5 times over the course of the semester (ideally in person), to be scheduled as a group. Using the newly published book,&nbsp;<strong><em>Joy-Centered Pedagogy in Higher Education: Uplifting Teaching and Learning for All<\/em>&nbsp;<\/strong>(Routledge, 2025), we will explore joy as an essential source of abundance and vitality that we can intentionally cultivate in the classroom to activate resilience, engagement, and community.
