MCAT
The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) is excited to announce a new resource now available to students to help them as they prepare for the MCAT exam. “How I Studied for the MCAT Exam” includes profiles for 17 students who self-identified as having performed well on the exam. The profiles include insight on how the students performed, their overall study approach, tips, any challenges they faced and overcame, and “do’s and don’ts” for students to be aware of as they prepare.
MCAT Integrity - Information for students to help them understand MCAT test day rules and security guidelines for discussing the MCAT exam.
Sociology, Psychology and Biochemistry Textbook Resource
As per the request of the AAMC publishers of introductory sociology and psychology textbooks have provided a “road map” to where the MCAT2015 Foundational Concepts and Content Categories can be found in their publications.
The AAMC, Khan Academy, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation collaborated on a project to create free educational tutorials to help students prepare for the revised Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT®). The tutorials (including videos and questions) were developed by winners of a video competition sponsored by the AAMC, Khan Academy and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Lessons are available through Khan’s online learning library, as well as the Pre-health Collection of the AAMC’s MedEdPORTAL® iCollaborative.
