Some need to gain more health related experience, some want to get more research experience, others need coursework, and some just want a little breather before starting one of these programs and need time to prepare everything for the application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gap Year Opportunities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/capyear.co\/\">CapYear<\/a> - service connecting pre-health students to gap year jobs<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/vassar.joinhandshake.com\/edu\">Handshake<\/a> - keep your profile up-to-date to get notifications about jobs posted there<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/groups\/13047244\/\">LinkedIn VassarNet <\/a>- a private LinedIn page for meeting other students and alum who may have similar interests and advice<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Post Baccalaureate (Postbac) Programs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two primary types of postbac programs. These programs do not typically award a degree, but they may award a certificate.
