Accepted students spend the fall semester of their senior year at Mailman and take the multidisciplinary\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mailman.columbia.edu\/academics\/degrees\/master-public-health\/core-curriculum\">Core Curriculum<\/a>. Students then return to Vassar for the spring semester. At the end of the MPH Core semester, students write an op-ed on a public health topic of their choice as a culminating assignment for three courses.
