Each candidate for the Bachelor of Arts degree is required to complete a minimum of 32 units of work, equivalent to 120 semester hours or 180 quarter hours of credit. Most courses at Vassar are worth one full unit, although there are a few 1\/2 unit courses. A full time student takes a minimum of 3 1\/2 units per term.
