The primary goal is to provide a community of support through equality, love, and compassion. One major project of the SSA has been replacing Sikh stereotypes and unconscious stigmas with awareness of Sikhi to the broader community. SSA hosts weekly trips, on Sundays, to the local Gurdwara Sahib (a place of worship for all) at Gurudwara Midhudson Sikh Cultural Society in Wappingers Falls, NY (free transportation provided\u2014meet at Gordon Commons at 11:30 a.m.). We also hold member meetings at Pratt House (contact us for time\/day), and host other events for the campus and local communities. Our campus wide events will be advertised extensively so please keep an eye out! All are welcome.
