This email is to inform you that&nbsp;<strong>job registration for the 2025-2026 Academic Year will begin on Monday, August 18th at 11am.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;At that time, because you have a work study award in your financial aid package, you will be able to log into the JobX system and apply for student jobs. If you are hired, the first day you can work in your job for the Academic Year will be&nbsp;<strong>9\/2\/25.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of orientation, we will also be hosting a&nbsp;<strong>Job Fair on campus in the College Center Atrium from 12-3pm on Friday, 8\/29<\/strong>. Stop by to meet employers in person, complete your I-9 form, and learn more about jobs on campus!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Placement Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please submit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vassarcollegecis.msnd3.com\/tracking\/lc\/36273424-c96d-41b5-af4d-7da059236c4e\/915f7952-262f-4b69-9adf-9eaeabb82b64\/5ae45a22-9a46-f523-6b80-94d183938fbc\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">this form<\/a>&nbsp;by Sunday, 8\/24\/25<\/strong>&nbsp;if you would like to be considered for our Pilot Job Placement Program. This program is available to First-Year students with a Work Study award and positions will be slotted based on availability in order of students' financial need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will be slotted into positions during orientation week and will be informed of their job placements before classes and jobs begin on 9\/2\/25.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>***All students MUST complete their I-9 with the Student Employment Office before they may begin working.***<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I-9 Form Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Please be aware that if you are hired, you will need to complete an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vassarcollegecis.msnd3.com\/tracking\/lc\/36273424-c96d-41b5-af4d-7da059236c4e\/e01298c4-81b4-4e15-969a-b949eb5beb5d\/5ae45a22-9a46-f523-6b80-94d183938fbc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I-9 form<\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong><em>before working<\/em><\/strong>. The I-9 can be printed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vassarcollegecis.msnd3.com\/tracking\/lc\/36273424-c96d-41b5-af4d-7da059236c4e\/e01298c4-81b4-4e15-969a-b949eb5beb5d\/5ae45a22-9a46-f523-6b80-94d183938fbc\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>&nbsp;or picked up in our office (Baldwin 300).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To complete the I-9, you must have received a job offer and<strong>&nbsp;you must bring original, unexpired documents to establish your identity to our office for validation<\/strong>.&nbsp;<strong>Copies cannot be accepted.<\/strong>&nbsp;A list of acceptable documents can be found&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vassarcollegecis.msnd3.com\/tracking\/lc\/36273424-c96d-41b5-af4d-7da059236c4e\/4ee93f5d-979d-4eae-9760-b710ff024e90\/5ae45a22-9a46-f523-6b80-94d183938fbc\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walk-in hours to complete I-9s are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1-4pm in Baldwin 300.
