Forces video embeds contained in dropdowns to have a size --><style>.dropdownizer__dropdown iframe { width: 100% !important; height: 100% !important; }<\/style>\n<p>If you have excess funds (negative balance) in your student account, you may keep the funds in the account&nbsp; to offset the next term\u2019s charges or you may request a refund.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requesting a Refund<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To request an electronic refund via direct deposit, you must complete the following two steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set up your Refund Profile in <a href=\"https:\/\/secure3.touchnet.com:443\/C20911_tsa\/web\/caslogin.jsp\"><strong>Student Account Portal<\/strong><\/a>. (see complete instructions below)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the online <a href=\"https:\/\/pages.vassar.edu\/finaidforms\/wp-login.php?privacy=1&amp;redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fpages.vassar.edu%2Ffinaidforms%2Fstudent-account-refund-request%2F%3F_gl%3D1%2At8rhee%2A_ga%2AODY2Nzc0MTI3LjE3NTkzMjk4NDU.%2A_ga_GK60KNYSK7%2AczE3NjU1NTg4MTIkbzczJGcxJHQxNzY1NTYxNDQ1JGo1OSRsMCRoMA..%2A_ga_2VMLM6WYG6%2AczE3NjU1NTg4MTQkbzc0JGcxJHQxNzY1NTYxNDQ1JGo2MCRsMCRoMA..%2F\"><strong>Refund Request Form<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Vassar will direct deposit the funds quickly and securely into the bank account you provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note on Parent PLUS Loans:<\/strong> If a credit balance is created by Parent PLUS Loan funds, federal regulations dictate that the refund belongs to the parent. However, Vassar can issue these funds via direct deposit directly to the student\u2019s bank account if the parent provides written authorization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Refund Profile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To set up a Refund Profile (<strong>students only<\/strong>):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Access your <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/secure3.touchnet.com:443\/C20911_tsa\/web\/caslogin.jsp\"><strong>Student Account<\/strong> <strong>Portal<\/strong><\/a>: You will be prompted to complete the <strong>Financial Responsibility Agreement<\/strong>.  This is a requirement to move forward.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Navigate to Refunds<\/strong>: Once logged in, locate and click on the <strong>Refunds <\/strong>tab in the top menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Secure Your Account<\/strong>: You will be required to enroll in <strong>Multi-factor Authentication<\/strong> (MFA) before you can save a Refund Method.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Set Up Payment Profile<\/strong>: Click on <strong>Payment Profile<\/strong> to add your bank account and billing details as a new Payment Method.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enable Direct Deposit<\/strong>: Under <strong>Refund Options<\/strong>, make sure to select the box that permits \u201crefunds to be deposited into your account.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Confirm Information<\/strong>: Click <strong>Continue <\/strong>and then <strong>Agree <\/strong>to confirm the accuracy of your bank account details.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Adding an Authorized User is <em><strong>not<\/strong> <\/em>required to set up a Refund Profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Automatic Refund Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vassar will process refunds for certain students with a credit balance automatically.
