Forces video embeds contained in dropdowns to have a size --><style>.dropdownizer__dropdown iframe { width: 100% !important; height: 100% !important; }<\/style>\n<p>Students attending international non-Vassar sponsored programs and domestic programs are required to complete the Study Away Budget form online to receive financial aid<em>. <\/em>This form will determine the cost of attendance or financial aid budget for each student to attend their program. Student Financial Services will email students when the Study Away Budget form is available for their term away. Typically the form opens in mid November for the spring semester away and late April for the fall semester\/Full-year away. The budget will include the following costs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International Programs<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vassar College tuition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GeoBlue travel health insurance (mandatory)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Housing and food (not to exceed Vassar's on campus costs for the term or terms of study away)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Round trip transportation by the most economical means, if not included in the tuition or program fee. Students are asked to use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kayak.com\/\">www.kayak.com<\/a>&nbsp;or comparable websites to find the lowest cost airfare<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional travel allowance if a flight is required from the student's home to the program's designated group departure site<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A standard allowance for personal expenses, books and supplies<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Domestic Programs<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tuition and fees charged by the program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Housing and food (not to exceed Vassar\u2019s cost)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Round trip transportation by the most economical means<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A standard allowance for personal expenses, books and supplies<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The following costs will&nbsp;<strong><em>not<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;be included in the budget:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Optional\/personal travel before or after the academic period and during breaks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Housing and food costs before or after the academic period and during breaks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Housing and food costs in excess of Vassar\u2019s allocation for room and board<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional food or dietary allowances<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional costs for immunizations, a passport, an International Student Identity Card, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Special clothing or equipment for activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cost for books, materials, and VISA expenses in excess of the standard budget amount<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gifts, phone calls\/international phone plans, laundry, gym memberships, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students attending international non-Vassar sponsored programs and domestic programs are required to complete the Study Away Budget form online to receive financial aid.
