Semester Breaks Mental Health Support
Although VCCS does not provide regularly scheduled appointments during the semester breaks, students wanting mental health support are encouraged to call the Counselor on Call any time 24/7 by calling (845) 437-7333 and the Vassar counselors will follow up with those students.
Summer Mental Health Support
Counseling Service is on a 10-month contract and will be closed between June 15th and August 15th. This encompasses all services, including psychiatry.
While our mental health services will be unavailable during this period, there are local services available for students in need of mental health support. To help prepare the campus for the summer period, we want to provide you with community resources that may be helpful for students or community members with mental health concerns.
