Interns
Vassar students have the opportunity to work with the Environmental Cooperative through work-study and CEL (Community-Engaged Learning). These positions provide the opportunity for overlap with the Vassar Ecological Preserve and Office of Sustainability.
Outreach and Volunteer Coordination
The outreach and coordination intern(s) work to engage student organizations, campus offices, departments and community groups. They also assist with social media and educational programs.
Education
Education interns assist with developing and implementing the Exploring Science program and assist with other environmental education programs as needed.
Campus Natural Areas
Campus naturals areas interns monitor and maintain natural areas on campus including tree planting sites and pollinator gardens as well as scout for emerging invasive species.
