Building Stewardship

Building stewardship at Vassar showcases our commitment to preserving and enhancing campus facilities to support academic, social, and environmental goals. Facilities Operations views buildings as valuable assets, ensuring they adapt to changing needs while retaining their historical significance. This includes conducting regular inspections, implementing energy-efficient upgrades, and fostering collaboration across departments.

We involve the community by promoting participation in sustainability initiatives and encouraging the reporting of issues through our Work Control Center. Our approach strikes a balance between preservation, functionality, and sustainability, creating a campus environment that supports learning while reducing environmental impact.

For any questions related to Building Stewardship, please reach out to Henry Williams at (845) 437-7782 or hewilliams@vassar.edu.
