Institute Site Activity 10/03–10/07/22

The hauling away of building foundations and debris is complete.

The tree removal and associated work will be completed this week.

An abandoned steam line was found in the location of the field office and contains an asbestos wrap on the pipe. The material and the process to abate it is considered non-friable, meaning the fibers are or contained in the materials and not released into the air.  All work to be performed in strict accordance with NYS ICR 56, Federal EPA, OSHA, and all local guidelines. The work will take place Tuesday through Thursday of next week.

Clearing and excavation as well as site prep for the footings/foundations for the Institute will begin this week.
