Accessibility Information

There is first-floor access and a ramp extension leading to the main entrance of the Center (2nd floor). Accessible restrooms are located on the first floor. The elevator has to be accessed from the 2nd floor. Please ask for assistance at the front desk. The closest accessible parking spaces are located in the Baldwin lot and in front of Kautz Admission House on Main Circle.

The lower level entrance (nearest the Computer Center) features a single door.
The upper level entrance (nearest the Powerhouse Theater) features a single door.

About the Jeh Vincent Johnson ALANA Cultural Center

The ALANA Center provides resources and programs to support students of color and fosters connections with various communities in Poughkeepsie and surrounding areas. The center has comfortable lounges, offices for student organizations that support students of color, a kitchen, a computer lab, and a library of culturally specific journals/newsletters, educational videos, career development resources, scholarship and fellowship information.
