Native American & Indigenous Peoples’ Heritage Month is nationally celebrated each year in November by celebrating the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Native Americans, and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people.

Trip to Visit The Forge Project
Friday, November 22nd at 8:45 a.m.
In honor of Native American and Indigenous Peoples’ Heritage Month, we will be visiting the Forge Project. The Forge Project is “a Native-led non-profit organization whose mandate is to cultivate and advance Indigenous leadership in arts and culture.” As a part of the two-hour tour, there will be “a conversation, overview of our core programs and areas of focus, as well as a tour of the common spaces and art collection works on view.”
Van transportation will be provided. Limited spots are available. Submit your interest here for an opportunity to attend.

Join the Native American & Indigenous Student Alliance (NAISA) for Decolonizing Thanksgiving; an education on the truths of Thanksgiving + traditional Native American foods.
