FLI initiatives include, but are not limited to:

• Foundations, a pre-orientation component for incoming students the week before New Student Orientation
• FLI Research Project
• FLI Mentorship Program
• Senior Summit, a career and networking event
• “FLI, Too” Events,  for employees and students to come together over a shared FLI identity
• Senior Reception, every May
• Wisdom Dinners, faculty dinners where faculty are encouraged to share their journeys through higher education
• Monthly Lunches
• Beyond the Gates, partnerships in the Hudson Valley to encourage a college-going culture amongst students who will qualify as FLI-eligible when they attend college
• Student Leader positions for students in their second year and beyond
