Peer Mentorship
Our peer mentor program aims to offer support, build community, and provide a sense of belonging throughout the students’ first year. Peer mentors will be expected to guide mentees in their connection to the FLI community and campus resources that can benefit their Vassar experience.
They will support the personal, academic, and career development of their students; model positive self-care while navigating campus culture, and validate their experiences throughout their first year.
Most importantly, SPOT Peer mentors will help create spaces that foster a sense of belonging for their students as they aim to thrive at Vassar.
