Workshops

Health Promotion and Education provides both peer-to-peer and administrator-led workshops and trainings on a variety of topics related to personal and community wellness for House Teams, student organizations, and athletic teams.

Administrator-led/Peer-led Workshops:

The Health Promotion and Education Director and Wellness Peer Educators provide workshops and lead small discussion groups for house teams, fellow groups, athletic teams, any student organization, or group of students who would like more information or support. Topics address all areas of wellness; some examples

  • Increasing sports performance
  • Adult Children of Alcoholics

Programs

Health promotion and education programs seek to provide students with information they need to make informed and responsible decisions concerning their health. WPEs are responsible for program development, planning, and execution. Popular programs include: Harvest Health Fair, DeStress Daze, and SEXPO.
