Welcome to the Office for Institutional Equity.

The Office for Institutional Equity supports a safe and equitable community where students, faculty, and staff can work and learn free of discrimination, harassment, sexual violence, and other forms of dating violence, stalking, and exploitation. We accomplish this through educational programming and providing community members with the opportunity to discuss concerns related to an inclusive and respectful environment, free from discrimination and harassment based on protected classes (e.g., sex, race/ethnicity, national origin, or disability).

Our office is committed to promoting a safe and respectful environment for all students, faculty, and staff to work and learn in a community free from discrimination and harassment. This extends beyond merely adhering to compliance regulations and policies to provide clear leadership and support in matters related to equity, respect, and acceptance for all members of the Vassar College community.
