LGBTQ Center

Vassar College

The LGBTQ Center has a commitment to centering the voices and experiences of Queer and Trans People of Color.

Some of the programs and events that are hosted by the LGBTQ Center Interns are:

QTPoC Art Exhibits:

The walls of the LGBTQ Center are used to exhibit rotating art exhibits from Vassar College QTPoC students, faculty, and staff. We hold regular exhibit opening receptions, with our first being held on Wednesday, October 25th at 5 p.m. in the LGBTQ Center. Watch our weekly newsletter, The Queer Agenda, for information about how to submit your art for participating in an exhibit.

Queer Femme Socials:

Several times a semester we host social events specifically for queer femmes, with part of the event dedicated for only queer femmes of color. The first Queer Femme Social will be held on Friday, September 29th at 6 p.m. in the Kenyon Club Room.
