Teaching Pairs
Faculty are invited to connect across disciplines through the Teaching Pairs program!
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, February 5
In this program, faculty pair up to observe each other in their teaching, with each participant gaining the opportunity to observe and be observed. Participants are each paired with a faculty member from another department to gain new insight on their teaching through a guided non-evaluative process of reciprocal classroom observation and self-reflection.
The goal of Teaching Pairs is to encourage a respectful and mutually supportive experience to reflect and connect on teaching in a formative and inspiring environment.
Participants attend a kick-off meeting early in the semester to learn about the observation process, share goals, and coordinate schedules with their observation partner. At the end of the semester, participants reconvene for a debrief and celebration to share reflections and ideas to implement in future teaching.
