Faculty Conversation Award
Small grants are available for this academic year to support conversations that bring together faculty from different departments and multidisciplinary programs. The conversations can be about teaching or research, can range in size (normally three or more), and must contain faculty from different parts of the curriculum.
Funds can be used to support ongoing writing, research or accountability support groups, teaching discussions, or course planning, and can be applied to books, refreshments, or modest honoraria for colleagues from another institution who are providing expertise to the group. Maximum awards are $600.00 for this semester.
Proposal Application
The awards will be granted on a rolling basis until funds have been exhausted.
If you have questions about this grant, please don’t hesitate to contact Susan Hiner (suhiner@vassar.edu) or Candice Lowe Swift (caswift@vassar.edu).
