Off-Campus Employers
The Office of Community-Engaged Learning and Student Employment Office help facilitate the hiring of eligible Vassar students in Community Service Work-Study (CSWS) positions. Through CSWS, students who are Federal Work-Study eligible have the opportunity to work at local nonprofits or public sector organizations that provide services to benefit the local community. Education is the primary focus of this program, with job placements in tutoring, literacy, after-school programs, community advocacy, elder care, and the like. Students are expected to attend orientation, training, and reflection/evaluation programs as part of their hours worked.
Current community partners will find the resources they need to post job opportunities and to manage student employees on these pages.
We look forward to collaborating with you to provide a rewarding and mutually beneficial experience for all.
