Prospective Students
Vassar’s financial aid program is need-based, not merit-based. We don’t give scholarships for achievement in a particular area (such as sports, music or even academics). We believe that every student we admit is outstanding and has the potential to make a significant contribution to the Vassar community—that’s why we admitted them.
The ultimate goal of the College is to make a Vassar education affordable and accessible to all our students. If you are admitted to Vassar, the College will meet 100% of your full demonstrated financial need for all four years.
