Reporting Responsibilities
At Vassar, some individuals and campus resources can offer confidentiality while others have specific obligations to respond when they receive a report of a crime or a campus policy violation. If you are unsure of someone's duties and ability to maintain your privacy, ask them before you talk to them.
On-Campus Confidential Resources
On-campus confidential employees and resources will provide the reporting party with the Institutional Equity Office’s contact information, specifically the AVP for Institutional Equity and Title IX Coordinator and/or the Faculty Director of Affirmative Action. They can also assist the reporting party with connecting with other resources on and off-campus, including reporting to the Institutional Equity Office.
