Filing a Formal Report

To file a formal report at Vassar, contact the Title IX Coordinator at (845) 437-7924 or equity@vassar.edu. You can also fill out an online form provided by the Office for Institutional Equity:

• go.vassar.edu/report-discrimination
• go.vassar.edu/report-sexualmisconduct

If you do not wish to file a formal report, you can fill out SAVP’s Anonymous Disclosure Form. Whether or not a report is made to the College, individuals also have the right to file a report with:

• Town of Poughkeepsie Police: 911 or (845) 485-3666
• New York State Police Campus Sexual Assault Victims Unit: (844) 845-7269
• The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights if they believe the College has discriminated against them on the basis of sex/gender.
