August 19–21 (Wednesday–Friday): Child visits by appointment
August 20 (Thursday): Parent handbook orientation (6:30–7:15 p.m.)
August 24–26 (Monday–Wednesday): Half-days of school (8:15–11:45 a.m.)
- Mandatory staff CPR/first aid and OCFS training in the afternoon
August 27 (Thursday–Friday): Full days of school start
- As per the contract, with pickup at 11:45 a.m., 4:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.
September 7 (Monday): Labor Day – School closed
September 22 (Tuesday): WNS curriculum night (6:15–7:15 p.m.)
October 19–21 (Monday–Wednesday): October break – School closed
- Wednesday staff development
October 28 (Wednesday): Fall Family Festival at the WNS playground (4:00–5:15 p.m.)
November 11 (Wednesday): Parent-teacher conferences – School closed
Week of November 19: Family pancake breakfast (8:15–9:00 a.m.; date to be announced)
November 25 (Wednesday): Thanksgiving dismissal at 3:00–3:15 p.m.
November 26–27 (Thursday–Friday): Closed for Thanksgiving
December 15 (Tuesday): WNS holiday sing-along (9:00–9:30 a.m.)
December 18 (Friday): Last day of the semester – Dismissal at 3:00–3:15 p.m.
December 21–January 5: Winter break – School closed

January 5 (Tuesday): Staff development day – No school
January 6 (Wednesday): School reopens for children
January 18 (Monday): Martin Luther King Jr. Day – School closed
February 15 (Monday): Presidents Day – School closed (staff day)
February: Winter Dance Party – Date to be announced
March 8–12 (Monday–Friday): Spring break – School closed
March 26 (Friday): Good Friday – School closed
April: Children’s Concert & Art Exhibit, Day of the Child, and WNS 100 Year Anniversary – Dates to be announced
April 22 (Thursday): Dismissal at 11:45 a.m. for the 100 Year Celebration
May 3 (Monday): Parent-teacher conferences – School closed
May 28 and 31 (Friday and Monday): Memorial Day holiday – School closed
June 16 (Wednesday): Last day – School ends at 4:00 p.m.

June 17–28: WNS and Infant Toddler Center closed
