Student Employment Job Information

Academic Year jobs will begin on Tuesday, 9/2/25 for student employees.

As a reminder, students may not begin working until they have been hired in JobX.

The Student Employment Job Fair will be held from 12-3pm on Friday, 8/29/25 for First-Year Students. If you have hired a student who needs to complete their I-9 form, they may do so at this event!

Employee Loeb Tours
Tuesday, September 23rd at 1pm, the Loeb
Friday, November 7th, at 11am, the Loeb

Join us for a guided tour of the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center at Vassar. Learn about its history and connect with Loeb staff while learning about the works currently on display.

Employee Communities (EC): 
Open House (In-Person, Drop-In)

  • Tuesday, September 9, 10:00–11:30am, College Center MPR
  • Thursday, September 18, 10:00–11:00am, College Center MPR

Info Session with Q&A (Virtual)

  • Wednesday, September 10, 2:00–3:00pm, via Zoom

Employee Communities (ECs), formerly known as ERGs, help foster connection, support, and belonging at work. Join us in person for a drop-in style Open House, or attend the virtual Info Session for a live overview and Q&A. Both options will give you the chance to learn about the EC program, explore existing groups, and find out how to join or start one of your own. This is an opportunity to gather resources and reflect on how ECs can enrich your experience at Vassar.

Introducing Veronica Zias, Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition 

Please welcome Veronica Zias (she/her), the new Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition at Vassar. 

In this role, Veronica will be supporting managers to find the right fit for open positions and help create a positive experience for candidates.

Some fun facts about Veronica are that she enjoys spending time doing yoga, exploring new restaurants and spoiling her dog, Tyson!

Veronica has joined the Human Resources team Full-Time and is available Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. 

We look forward to her ongoing contributions to our Vassar community. Please feel free to reach out to Veronica at vzias@vassar.edu to introduce yourself!


9/11 Rememberance Service

We invite the Vassar community to join us for a 9/11 Remembrance Service on Thursday, September 11th, from 9:00–9:30 a.m. at the Peace Garden by Ely Hall.

All are welcome as we gather in reflection and remembrance.

Engaged Pluralism Retreat Information

Engaged Pluralism is a Vassar program dedicated to bringing faculty, students, and administrators together to raise questions around inclusion and belonging, and to create programming to make

our campus a better place to live, learn, and work.

Engaged Pluralism is holding a retreat on Friday, September 5, from 9:30-3pm at the Institute and invites all Vassar faculty, staff, administrators, and students. It is open to all who want to engage with EP’s mission and contribute to our work together, to help us deepen our work across campus.
