Electronic Transcripts

$3.68 (+ taxes) electronic processing fee required. Taxes based on individual billing address.

Electronic (e-transcript) Copies

Vassar has partnered with Parchment Exchange to deliver electronic transcripts for all current and former students. There is a $3.68 (+ taxes) processing fee per transcript. Taxes are based on individual billing address.

  • Visit Parchment.com
  • The site guides you through placing an order and making payment.
  • Orders are 100% online; no additional forms are needed.
  • Ability to attach supplemental forms is included.
  • You can place multiple transcript orders in a single transaction.
  • The website is available 24/7. Requests are processed by Vassar the following business day.
  • Order using any device and most modern browsers (Note: Internet Explorer is not supported).
  • You can track your order status and history online.

Instructions for Requesting an Official E-transcript

For New Users:

  1. Go to the Parchment sign-up page.
  2. Enter “Vassar College” in the Find an Institution box and select “Search.”
  3. Choose Vassar College from the list.
  4. Enter your email address and select “Continue.”
  5. Provide the following details:
    • First Name, Middle Name (if applicable), Last Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Phone Number
    • Address
    • Enrollment information and/or dates of attendance
    • Create a password.

For Returning Users:

  1. Select “Login.”
  2. Enter your email and password. If you’ve forgotten your password, use the “Forgot Password” link.
  3. Select “Orders.”
  4. If Vassar is not listed, select the “+” sign above “Start by Adding a School.”
  5. Enter “Vassar College” in the search box and select “Add.”
  6. Provide enrollment information and/or dates of attendance.
  7. Verify your name and any other names under which you attended.

Final Steps

  • Vassar will review and process your request during normal business hours.
  • We will upload your transcript to Parchment.
  • Parchment will send your transcript to the specified destinations.
  • All requests are official, secure, and will include the transcript legend and key to transcript notations.
