Pre-Health Advising

Vassar College

A Message from Lisa Pace, The Pre-Health Advisor
Center for Career Education

I hear from students and alums on a regular basis who share that they want to go into healthcare because they really desire to help people and they love (or loved) their science coursework. I also hear from medical schools how important it is for applicants to be prepared for the rigor of the program, but also to be ready for a career field that is truly one of service to others. As the Pre-Health Advisor in the Center for Career Education, I am here to help take you from the first step down the path of undergraduate education and then over the hurdles that are inherent in applying to health professions graduate school. There are also committed faculty members who form the Pre-Health Committee and are part of this process as well. Vassar alums have had great success in their applications to health professions schools and in their healthcare careers, and we're here to help you do the same.

If you are interested in learning more about a health professions career you can connect with pre-health advising through the Center for Career Education using the information below.
