On-Campus Counseling Services for Employees and Faculty

Walk-in Support Services Update

This is a reminder that Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselors will be on campus tomorrow, April 11th, to provide in-person grief counseling for employees and faculty impacted by the tragic passing of Avery Kim.

Tomorrow's walk-in session will be held from 1pm - 4pm in the Baldwin Conference Room 323, located on the 3rd floor of Baldwin Hall. 

There will be a blend of group and individual sessions to allow individuals to access different formats of support. Visit the Baldwin Conference Room to check in with the on-site counselor.

For those who are unavailable during this time or would prefer to meet virtually with a provider, please reach out to the resources listed below:

  • Employees have access to free grief support from Employee Assistance Program (EAP) by calling 1-(800) 624-5544.
  • Employees may also schedule free and unlimited phone or video counseling sessions through TelaDoc/HealthiestYou by calling 1-(866) 703-1259.
  • In addition, Dutchess County Behavioral Health is aware of Vassar’s needs and offers confidential, 24x7 mental health support services, as described here.
