Psychiatry at VCCS

**All psychiatry services will be offered in person or through telehealth on a secure video platform, and will be determined by VCCS staff as appropriate**

Dr. Mary Cruser is a part-time psychiatrist who works three days a week providing medication evaluations and follow-up care. Due to the high demand for psychiatric services it is impossible for all students to be treated on campus. In order to access the psychiatrist, students will need to be referred by and be in on-going treatment with a counselor at VCCS. Students who are primarily desiring medication management will be encouraged to continue receiving medication from their doctor at home or will be provided with community referrals. 
Dr. Cruser is only available to meet with students during the academic year (September–May).
