decorative.

Through outreach programming and training, Vassar College Counseling Service strives to extend the expertise of clinical counselors beyond Metcalf House to enhance Vassar’s learning environment. VCCS’s staff emphasizes a multicultural and developmental perspective on mental health, wellness, and advocacy.

VCCS offers a variety of outreach and training programs designed to enhance the lives and learning experiences of students, faculty, administrators, and staff. Workshops and presentations on a wide range of topics related to mental health, wellness, shifting relationship patterns, self-care, setting boundaries, reducing burn out, motivation enhancement, student life, and many more, are available throughout the year based on staff availability. VCCS welcomes requests from students, administrators, faculty and staff.

If you are interested in having one of our clinicians facilitate a presentation, please contact us at counseling@vassar.edu.

Please note: In order to give our staff enough time to schedule and prepare the presentation, 3 weeks' notice is requested. If less time is given, the request will become more difficult to schedule and provide.
