Walk-in Clinic
VCCS offers an afternoon Walk-In Clinic, Monday to Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m (last appointment at 3:30 p.m.). Students can utilize the walk-in clinic for a 30-minute single session and are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, students are encouraged to call earlier in the day to schedule a time to increase the likelihood of having an appointment slot. During these single sessions, a staff therapist will provide support and strategies to help address student concerns.
Please note: Walk in appointments are to be scheduled the same day and cannot be scheduled in advance. If there are no available walk in appointments for the day you call, you can speak with the on-call counselor by contacting the CRC (845) 437-7333). If you would still like a walk in appointment after your contact with the on-call counselor, please contact counseling service early the next day to see if there are any available slots.
**If you are concerned that you cannot keep yourself or others safe, please let us know right away so we can assist you**

This service does not initiate ongoing therapy, but instead is designed to help with short-term issues. If you would like to access the Walk-In Clinic, please contact our office (845) 437-5700 or email counseling at counseling@vassar.edu. If you decide to cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.
Our Walk-In Clinic is being offered in person or through telehealth on a secure video platform, and will be determined by VCCS staff as appropriate.
